Before Starting a Workout Program, Perform a Strength Test

When sorting out a training plan and before you start it, it is important to find out how strong you are. If you don’t, you could quickly overreach yourself and cause an injury. When measuring your strength, use a test that best suits you and your goals.

For example test yourself on the parts of the body that you most want to improve. If you want to improve your arms use exercises that work the, biceps and triceps, such as the barbell curl.

One Rep Max Test

This is the standard of strength tests. This test normally involves the bench press and leg press as this is a sign of all round body strength. Warm up before you do your one rep max with light manageable weights. Start with a weight you know you can lift and do one rep and then add 10% onto it every time until you fail. It is important to use a spotter for this to prevent injuries.

Once you have found out your strength then you can start your workout plan. An all over strength and fitness endurance program is Rushfit. To find out more and for a gsp rushfit review check out the, training products reviewed website.
